Lurking through many quote sites, I noticed that alot of them contain poetry &other forms of literature. Though poetry is a great form of motivational &creative literature, there is nothing like the simplicity of quotes that come from people, sharing their experiences through phrases &short sentences.
You may post quotes about: ♥ Love ♥ Sadness ♥ Heartbreak ♥ Motivation ♥ Words of Wisedom ♥ Verses from books, holy books, or other piece of literature (but NOT the whole thing) ♥ Losing a loved one ♥ Friendships ♥ Beauty ♥ Life ♥ Anger ♥ Politics ♥ From Movies/Cinema, as long as they apply to the above topics.
A FEW RULES
1.) If you are posting over 10 or 15 quotes, please lj-cut them. If you don't know how to, ask someone or look up on FAQ ON HOW TO DO LJ-CUTS
2.) Be nice, courteous, respectful, considerate, polite.
3.) The last thing I want to do is deal with flame wars. Try not to debate . But just in case you do, I ask for both parties to be professional about it. But I highly doubt this will happen since this is supposed to be a community about quotes, unless you like to argue about quotes...
4.) You don't have to introduce yourselves. But if you'd like to then that's great.
5.) Please try to stay on topic with posting quotes only. No poetry, lyrics, long book passages. Just plain simple quotes. But for some reason if you really must, lj-cut please.
6.) It would be prefered if you quote the person by specifying who said it, but leaving the source blank is okay too.
